Business Banking Officer - Kingman - Fort Mohave - Hybrid Company Summary: Founded over 90 years ago, we are a locally owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative that provides consumer and small business banking services to more than 150k members across the state.
Role Summary: - Responsible for growing the credit union's deposit and loan portfolios.
- Achieve goals by expanding existing depository relationships, calling on new deposit members, and sourcing mortgage, SBA/commercial loan, and partner referrals
- Participate in marketing initiatives and developing promotional programs.
- Business development via daily telephone and outside sales calls of existing and potential members.
- Identify, call on referrals, and cross sell new relationships stemming from existing members and the credit union's lending department.
- Develop and grow a highly cross-trained team through positive coaching and communication.
- Achieve annual deposit, mortgage referral, SBA, commercial and consumer lending goals.
- Establish proactive communication with branch personnel to promote a high level of service.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
- Open and service all types of accounts using the credit union's core operating system.
- Support operations, risk management initiatives and a strong control environment.
- Maintain professional and community relations to increase the credit union's visibility and enhance new business opportunities.
- Keep well informed of the financial industry and competition.
- Be knowledgeable of all credit union's products and services.
- Monitor member's usage of products to assist in introducing other beneficial products and services the credit union offers.
- Develop and maintain a network of referral sources.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications: - 3+ years experience in a financial institution focused on increasing deposit and loan portfolios
- Experience in financial retail sales and service, strong product knowledge and consumer/commercial lending
- Knowledge of branch operations, relationship management, and regulatory compliance.
