Delivery Driver

Summarized Job Requirements:

1. Must have a current California Driver’s License (Class C) with a satisfactory driving record
2. Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes early mornings, nights, weekends, and split shifts.
   1. Open availability is preferred; unplanned schedule changes may be necessary .
   2. Shifts may run longer or shorter than anticipated.
   3. Must be willing to work until the job is done even if it means working past your scheduled shift .
   4. An overnight stay may be required for some out-of-town assignments.
3. Must work well with other team members which includes the ability to effectively delegate tasks
4. Must have relevant driving experience
5. Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
6. May be required to lift at least 50 lbs.
7. Must be willing to observe and uphold the company culture, and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and rules in written and verbal form.

Nature of the Work

1. Be willing to properly and safely operate a company vehicle, including:

a. 1-ton pickup truck or flatbed (example: Ford F-350)

b. Equipment cargo van (example: Ford Transit 150)

c. 16’ box truck, 2 axel (example: Mitsubishi Fuso FE160)

d. 24’ – 26’ box truck, 2 axel (example: International 4300)

2. Direct a Delivery Team as they deliver, set, and strike event rental equipment at various job sites.

1. Prepare and count rental equipment as part of the delivery process.
2. Properly load and unload vehicles/trucks at the warehouse and at the job site.
3. Work with Delivery Team to deliver equipment delegate tasks at each assigned job site.
4. Assist customers through the order fulfillment process. Serve them in a polite, friendly, and professional manner
5. Fill in for other positions when necessary or perform other duties as requested for smooth operation of business

Working Conditions:

Most work will be done at various job-sites or in the warehouse. The job requires interaction with the public. Work is fast paced and demanding. May be exposed to the general range of weather experienced in the area, except for several hours in the warehouse loading or unloading and drive time. Some work areas may not be heated or air conditioned.
