Job Summary: Responsible for the daily supervision and performance monitoring of billing staff. Typically prepares work schedules, assigns duties, and reviews work for accuracy and conformance to policies. Handles more difficult billing situations such as disputed balances. May participate in staff training, coaching and counseling employees, performance reviews, and making recommendations for promotions, salary adjustments and discipline.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree or pertinent college level courses in a related field and four years of progressively responsible medical billing experience, including supervisory experience. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
