Our flagship property, Hilton McLean, is searching for a talented full-time
Banquet Cook to join their team!
This well known, high profile property is located directly adjacent to Hilton's headquarters in the bustling area of Tyson's Corner in McLean, Virginia. The beautiful 458 room property, boasts over 27,000 square feet of elegant meeting space and two food and beverage outlets. Reliable transportation is a must as shifts will often end after Metro & Bus closures. This is a union position!
Ideal candidate will be a team player who is passionate, hardworking, and has a minimum 1 year of professional cooking experience. Prior culinary experience in hotel banquet operations is preferred. This is a union position!
Shift Pattern: This position will be overseeing AM and PM shifts/ Full availability is required including weekends and holidays
Pay Rate: $21.99 per hour

What will I be doing? As a Cook ll, you would be responsible for preparing cold food items in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Prepare cold food items including, but not limited to, salads, fruits, dressings, fish items and appetizers, according to designated recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
- Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
- Ensure knowledge of menu and food products
- Stock and maintain designated food stations(s)
- Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
- Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
