Possible Shift Times to be confirmed with Employer: 6pm - 11pm, 7pm - 12pm, 8pm - 1am, 8:30pm - 1:30 am Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Job Description
D’Served is looking for an employee, who will effectively work on our team to scoop ice cream sandwiches , bake cookies and assist in other areas of production. The ideal employee is able to reliably work evenings into the early morning, feel comfortable working in a fast paced work environment with a proven ability to meet daily production quotas, used to working on their feet the whole shift and already has commercial kitchen experience . This job does not require any customer service tasks.
This role requires attention to detail with the ability to consistently meet goals and production quality. Employees must have the ability to reliably get themselves to and from the work every shift at the agreed upon time. It requires the ability to communicate and work effectively with a small team (2-3 people), perform repetitive tasks such as scooping, portioning cookie dough, packaging and to be comfortable changing tasks throughout the shift. Training will be provided for every duty and task assigned.
Job Tasks
Scooping/ portioning ice cream to make ice cream sandwiches
Portion, rolling and baking cookies
Packaging ice cream sandwiches with a horizontal flow wrap machine
Prepare boxes and orders
Prepare cases of product
Effectively track info and communicate in Google sheets
Adhere to provincial health and safety regulations
Understand and comply with all legislated, mandated and company policies, guidelines and procedures
Other tasks as required

Self sufficient worker who prioritizes time effectively to consistently meet production quotas and product quality
Able to work and communicate on a small team (2-3 people)
Goal driven individual who enjoys improvement
Be flexible as tasks change while still working efficiently
Have an eye for detail or ability to quality control product
Understands and comfortable using Google Sheets
Candidate Requirements
MUST be at least 18 years of age upon application
A valid Food Handling Certification
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or bakery
Valid working permits required
Candidates with ice cream/ gelato handling and baking experience preferred
