SusieCakes is currently hiring for an Assistant General Manager for our San Carlos location! We are seeking someone that has a passion for the guest experience, leading a team, managing operations, and is looking to grow their career.

Pay is expected to range from $65,000-75,000 annually!

*Must be able to work weekends & holidays we operate, as well as have previous management experience.*

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) position is a manager in training role. They inspire, train, and support the guest service team. Additionally, they support the General Manager with the guest service needs for multiple locations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Frequent walking, kneeling, bending and reaching overhead
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Two years of managerial/leadership experience in the luxury, hospitality, food service and/or retail industries
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and team building skills
• Ability to train, coach, and counsel team members
• Exposure to financial and operational accountabilities
• Ability to work in multiple regional locations
• Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule according to business needs
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

EDUCATION:

• Associates or Bachelors degree with a focus in Business or Hospitality preferred
• High school diploma or GED required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• Must be able to speak, read, and write English

OTHER:

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• 47.5 hour anticipated work schedule average per week

n accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this California position is between $65,000 and $75,000 per year. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
