Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Mechanic to join our team at S&S Automotive. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. As an Auto Mechanic, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles, ensuring they are operating efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, including engine problems, brake systems, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Inspect vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
• Communicate with customers to explain vehicle issues and provide repair recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in automotive technology preferred.
• Proven experience as an auto mechanic, with a strong understanding of automotive systems and repair techniques.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification or similar credentials.
• Experience with specific vehicle brands or models.
• Knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
