Loyal Source was recently awarded an exciting opportunity by the VA to provide Medical Disability Examinations to Veterans throughout the country. In just a short time, we’ve launched Loyal Healthcare with 20+ cutting-edge facilities in 11 states across the Western U.S. including Alaska & Hawaii. As we continue our aggressive growth, we’re actively seeking a variety of healthcare positions to serve Veterans in select states, with anticipated expansion nationwide.
Responsibilities
· Perform comprehensive hearing examinations (MDE) including air and bone conduction, Stenger testing, speech reception threshold, and word recognition testing
· Perform and interpret middle ear analysis using tympanometry and acoustic reflex testing
· Perform otoscopy and cerumen removal management if necessary
· Conduct electronic medical record review including audiogram history and military noise history
· Perform medical opinion writing as the subject matter expert for hearing loss and tinnitus claims
· On-site opportunity in a multidiscipline new clinic using state of the art audiology equipment and sound booths
· Maintain patient confidentiality complying with HIPAA and VA rules and procedures
· C&P hearing examinations are one-time, no treatment examinations
Requirements
· Full, current, and unrestricted license in Audiology in the U.S.
· Master’s degree or doctorate degree from a university accredited by ACAE, CAA, or ASHA
· BLS from The American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Preferred Requirements
· Experience performing C&P exams is preferred but not necessary. Training and ongoing support will be provided.
