We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Attorney specializing in Customer Contracts, based in Woburn, Massachusetts. This role primarily centers on assisting our team with the legal aspects of customer contracts, providing detailed attention to the drafting, reviewing, and administration of these agreements. The position will require cooperation with our Sales, Operations, and Finance teams, ensuring the legal integrity of contracts, terminations, renewals, and responses to customer inquiries and disputes.

Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough reviews and negotiations of customer contracts, ensuring compliance with company standards and legal requirements
• Prepare a variety of legal documents including license agreements, amendments, ground lease documents, access and utility agreements, use authorization, and consent agreements
• Offer legal analyses and negotiate resolutions of property owner transactions, customer requests, project permitting, and the adoption of applicable legislation or regulations
• Coordinate and communicate with internal departments to satisfactorily resolve issues with property owners and/or external customers
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of applicable customer and/or landowner agreements and regularly communicate with external customers regarding contractual rights and obligations
• Handle title curative issues, such as missing deeds, improper signature authority, and issues concerning company entities, coordinating with external title companies as needed
• Manage and resolve any customer issues related to non-compliance, using high-level communication skills to negotiate resolutions
• Prepare and review contracts and supporting documents with meticulous attention to detail, demonstrating strong legal drafting skills.• Must possess excellent customer service skills for interacting with internal departments and external customers
• Need to have proven sales and negotiation skills
• Demonstrated experience in operations management
• Familiarity with compliance, regulations, and finance in the context of contracts
• Proven ability to review, draft, and negotiate contracts
• Proficiency in resolving property related issues, including liens
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to effectively resolve issues and disputes
• Prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
• Experience with authorizations, missing invoices, and agreement terminations
• Knowledge of entity formation is required
• Must have experience in drafting legal documents such as memoranda
• Ability to handle contract renewals and terminations
• Experience in dispute resolution in a legal context.
