Salary Range: From/To
The salary range will be $21.49 ? 23.73 per hour for 7 hours per day pending previous and like experience.

MINIMUM TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
? A high school diploma or equivalent
? A minimum of three (3) years of successful clerical experience
? Proficient use of computers to include spreadsheet, database and word processing applications
? Knowledge of basic office procedures and equipment
? Ability to communicate effectively by oral and written means
? Ability to establish and maintain positive and cooperative working relationships
? Prior PowerSchool experience
? Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Must have expertise in public relations work on the telephone, and in person, being able to relate well with people
? Provide assistance to students, staff, parents and visitors entering office
? Frequent dissemination of procedures to parents and school personnel is required, responding to frequent telephone inquiries, relaying or recording messages accurately to or for appropriate persons
? Have knowledge of office procedures, good secretarial skills, typing, bookkeeping, use of copy machine, or any office machines used by the individual offices
? Provide secretarial support for immediate supervisor or for any office as directed
? Project a positive image of the Arlington Schools at all times
? Keep information confidential concerning school business
? Follow working instructions as directed by immediate supervisor
? Perform in a professional manner at all times
? Dress neatly and appropriately for the position held
? Maintain attendance records and student data in PowerSchool
? Assist with record keeping
? Assist with receptionist and telephone duties
? Assist with dispensing medication to students
? Assist with bookstore duties
? Must comply with federal, state and local statutes and regulations, as well as school board policies and administrative regulations
Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Working Conditions: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
