Job Summary:
We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing daily operations at our properties, ensuring a positive experience for residents and maintaining property performance.
Duties:
- Assist in leasing activities including showing units, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements
- Handle tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate tenant records and files, including lease agreements and related documents
- Assist with rent collection and follow up on late payments
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs with vendors and contractors
- Support the Property Manager in implementing property policies and procedures
- Conduct property inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards
Skills:
- Proficiency in conflict management to address tenant issues effectively
- Knowledge of property management laws and regulations
- Strong customer service skills to interact with tenants and address their needs
- Experience in file management and data entry for maintaining accurate records
- Ability to manage customer relationships and resolve conflicts professionally
- Administrative skills to assist in contract preparation and documentation
- Understanding of Fair Housing regulations to ensure compliance in all interactions
