Job Description

Assistant Property Manager

Polaris Property Management, a leading residential Property Management Company located in Indianapolis is searching for an Assistant Property Manager to perform various tasks. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Duties include but are not limited to, various office and field duties associated with an established and growing single-family property management company. The position is a hybrid work schedule (work in the office and from home) and assists our Property Managers.

Qualifications
Valid Driver’s License & reliable transportation

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Knowledge of real estate, leasing, and or business experience preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment; must be able to prioritize tasks based on importance, not volume or other factors.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to changes in the marketplace
  • Must have strong communication skills (phone, email, text).
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility & creativity in order to meet the needs of multiple properties at once.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Must have own reliable automobile, smart phone.

Duties include:

  • Tasks as assigned by Property Managers
  • Tasks as assigned by Financial Controller
  • Data entry into CRM programs
  • Research projects
  • Move In/Out reports; Mid-Lease Audits at properties
  • Lockbox installation/removal
  • Copies of keys to be made
  • Photos of new listings and updates to old photos of listings
  • Issuance of work orders as directed to vendors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
