Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Project Manager to join our Water Treatment team. The role will involve working closely with the Project Engineer to ensure the successful delivery of various water treatment projects. This position is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in water treatment, hydraulic analysis, hydrology, WaterCAD, and SewerCAD. The successful candidate will have a passion for problem-solving, the ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Project Manager - Water Treatment, you will:

1. Assist the Project Engineer in planning, executing, and closing water treatment projects.
2. Conduct hydraulic analysis and hydrology studies to evaluate the efficiency of water treatment systems.
3. Utilize WaterCAD and SewerCAD software to create detailed designs and plans for water treatment projects.
4. Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
5. Monitor project progress, address any issues that arise, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
6. Prepare and present project reports to senior management and clients.
7. Continually assess potential risks and devise mitigation strategies.
8. Collaborate with the team to innovate and improve project delivery methods.
9. Participate in project meetings and provide technical support when necessary.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in water treatment projects, including experience in hydraulic analysis, hydrology, WaterCAD, and SewerCAD.
3. Proven experience in project management or a similar role.
4. Strong understanding of water treatment processes and systems.
5. Proficient in using WaterCAD and SewerCAD software.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
10. Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
