POSITION SUMMARY

Tasked with aiding the Head Coach in all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division III soccer program. Experience playing, coaching, and recruiting in intercollegiate soccer is strongly preferred.

  • Successful recruitment of academically and athletically prepared soccer student athletes

  • Adherence to institutional, conference and NCAA Division III policies and procedures.
  • Ability to instruct, provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill.
  • Ability to break down opponents and form detailed scouting reports that can be quickly consumed.

  • Able and willing to work nights and weekends, along with long hours (specifically during season and high recruitment periods).

  • Ability to provide head coach with specific information to enhance the program in areas such as: team selection, tactical adjustments, player development, team building, training and scouting sessions.
  • High level of technical ability with technology. Social Media. Ability to break down film using Hudl, Premier Pro, iMovie or Window Movie Maker. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Professional and respectful at all times to fellow members of the coaching staff, team and campus community.
  • Supports the mission and vision of the College and respects the College's Catholic tradition.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in any field. Master's degree preferred.

Experience: Two to four years related experience.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Other Requirements: Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of collegiate soccer. Knowledge of rules and regulations of NCAA Division III and the American Rivers Conference as they pertain to collegiate soccer.
