Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite  with our client in Bath, ON . Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Perform production tasks as planned by the department, including assembling train components onto the train car body (sidewall panel fastening and drilling).
  • Installation of internal components (sub-assembled) onto the train car body.
  • Complies with EH&S rules and safe working procedures at all times.
  • Clean and maintain working areas and production equipment.
  • Set up production equipment such as workstations, test benches, inspection tools, and warehouse equipment.
  • Respect task time and quality level assigned by operating instructions, methods, process, and MRP routing.
  • Identify parts as necessary by the operating instructions before installation.
  • Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks.
  • Handle and store goods and raw materials in the factory or the warehouse.
  • Alert Team Leadership on process drift or quality problems.
  • Complete a tally sheet on the MRP tool if the team leader requests it.
  • Pack goods ready for shipment in crates or other containers.
  • Respect ESD rules for the production of electronics devices.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $26 -$28/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week.

Length: Temp (6 Months).

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical operator.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Industrial working environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Industrial or Manufacturing unit, on electronics, electrical, or mechanical devices.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing effectiveness.
  • Quality focus - reporting in an electronic system for status updates, defects, or scheduling updates.
  • Collaboration / Communication with Transparency / Teamwork.
  • Spoken and written English communication.

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
