Job Description
An Architectural Coordinator is needed for a contract opportunity in Columbus, Ohio and will facilitate communication and ensure the smooth execution of architectural projects by coordinating various aspects of design, construction and documentation. They act as a bridge between different teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, to maintain design intent, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with standards
Role Description
- Project Coordination: The architectural coordinator serves as the central point of contact for all project stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, architects, and engineers. They manage project timelines, budgets, and schedules, ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget
- Contractor Selection: The architectural coordinator selects contractors and vendors to work on the project, negotiating contracts and ensuring that they meet the project's requirements
- Design: The architectural coordinator aids in the design process, working with architects and engineers to ensure that the design meets the project requirements, complies with building codes and other regulations, and is feasible within the project's budget and timeline
- Project Planning: The architectural coordinator aids in developing a plan for the project, including the scope, timeline, and budget. They work with stakeholders to define project requirements, identify potential risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Prepare design options and feasibility studies prior to engaging design professionals
- Prepare accurate drawings using AutoCAD and/or REVIT from sketches after visiting job sites.
- Prepare complete and accurate renderings from sketches, notes, or meetings.
- Support technical development with accuracy and precision
- Review shop drawings and provide feedback to consulting design professionals
- Develop design manuals for Corporate Standards

Qualifications:
- Someone with experience on either workplace/corporate office building development or hotels and hospitality would be preferred.
