We are seeking a customer-focused team player with maintenance experience to join our team as a Maintenance Technician. Our Maintenance Technicians are key team members and are responsible for maintenance service requests for the community as well as make-readies, groundskeeping and preventative maintenance.

What You Will Do

• Respond to tenant service requests and assess the repair and the appropriate actions/items needed to perform the repair.
• Routinely perform duties to restore apartments to "market ready" status.
• Maintain accurate records regarding preventive maintenance, service requests received & completed, expenditures, apartment make-ready status, work-in-progress, etc.
• Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor with residents and co-workers at all times.
• Assist in keeping grounds neat and free of litter. Rake, sweep, and shovel as circumstances warrant.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on all appropriate equipment on a regular basis.
• Maintain all tools in excellent condition.
• Perform work area clean-up and safety-related duties.

About You

• Previous maintenance experience: 1 year
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and drywall
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Ability to take after hours and weekend on–call emergencies (rotation basis)
