Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure that the apartments are in excellent condition for new tenants. The technician will be responsible for light maintenance duties including touch-up painting, replacing light bulbs, cleaning, minor plumbing repairs, and performing various apartment make-ready tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Touch-Up Painting: Perform touch-up painting throughout the apartment to maintain a clean, fresh, and presentable environment.
• Lighting Maintenance: Replace light bulbs and ensure all lighting fixtures are in good working condition.
• Cleaning: Assist with cleaning and removing debris as needed, ensuring apartments are presentable for prospective tenants.
• Drywall Maintenance: Tape, float, and touch up drywall to repair minor damage or imperfections.
• Minor Plumbing Repairs: Address minor plumbing issues such as clogged drains, leaky faucets, and other small plumbing concerns.
• Door and Frame Repairs: Perform minor repairs and adjustments on doors, frames, and hardware to ensure proper functionality.
• Apartment Make-Ready: Assist in preparing apartments for new tenants by completing necessary repairs, maintenance, and cleaning to meet move-in standards.
• General Maintenance: Respond to general maintenance needs and perform other tasks as assigned by the property manager or supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in maintenance or a related field, preferably in an apartment or residential setting.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Experience with painting, drywall, and touch-up work.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair minor issues.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Must have basic tools required for maintenance tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
