POSITION TITLE

Analytics Senior Specialist, Marketing and Customer Experience (CX)

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a vital member of our marketing team, you will analyze and track data to boost marketing effectiveness, enhance customer experience, and drive profitable growth. You’ll build the team’s analytics capabilities, providing actionable insights to optimize the end-to-end customer journey. These insights will be a key component of business cases related to digital investment, process improvements, marketing strategies, and other key initiatives. Acting as a change agent, you’ll leverage data and insights to collaborate with global colleagues.

 

Based at our corporate headquarters in Spartanburg, SC, this role offers a flexible blend of in-office and remote work. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Customer Insights and Analytics, you’ll be part of the Milliken Marketing Services team. This role requires significant collaboration across the organization, partnering with marketing, sales, customer service, and IT to support key enterprise initiatives.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Analytics and Reporting:

  • Manage data analytics for marketing (e.g., website/SEO, social media, demand generation) and customer experience (e.g., NPS, CSAT, problem incidence).
  • Extract, organize, and present large datasets to highlight key issues and opportunities.
  • Access data from integrated digital ecosystems including SAP, Salesforce, Sitecore, and HubSpot.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations in committee and leadership meetings.

 

Digital Tracking and Optimization:

  • Utilize digital marketing tools like GA4, Hotjar, Falcon, and Cision to monitor engagement and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate tracking, tagging, and reporting of digital data.
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to enhance UI/UX and measure performance post-release.
  • Work with IT to improve customer data management.

 

Dashboard Management:

  • Define, track, and report monthly KPIs to measure performance and inform data-driven decision-making.
  • Oversee dashboard maintenance and enhance visualization tools such as Power BI and SAP AC.
  • Use dashboards to facilitate strategic discussions in monthly performance meetings.

 

Client Partnership:

  • Translate complex questions into clear, actionable analyses and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Identify evolving business needs, industry trends, and advancements to deepen customer understanding.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships across the company, demonstrating the value of analytics capabilities and managing custom requests.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field with analytics and quantitative emphasis.
  • 3+ years of related work experience analyzing data and delivering marketing and business insights.
  • High proficiency in Power BI, SAP AC, CRMA, or similar data visualization tools.
  • Skilled in Google Analytics (GA4 certification preferred) and Google Tag Manager.
  • Strong understanding of web analytics, including segmentation, customer journeys, funnel analysis, and attribution modeling.
  • Experience with A/B testing, quantitative and qualitative tracking, and ad effectiveness research.
  • Advanced analytics skills for running optimizations and simulations.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Persuasive communicator, capable of presenting insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills.
  • Highly organized, capable of managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to influence decisions and create alignment across teams.
