Job Summary
The Ambulatory Collections Manager will run and review aging reports for outstanding accounts-receivables, provide resolutions for complicated accounts, streamline billing and follow-up workflows, evaluates employee work performance, timekeeping, and productivity monitoring; plans, organizes, coordinates, and supervises the staff and day-to-day operations. They will ensure claim denials and no responses are reviewed daily to ensure we maintain low AR days while creating worklists for their team segregating denials by payer, reason, specialty, dollar amount, etc to tackle denials in masses. The manager will identify and report any operational and/or systemic enhancement opportunities back to their director.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement :
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
Minimum Experience Requirement :
Five (5) years of experience managing Revenue Cycle/AR collections in a professional/ambulatory healthcare environment. Five (5) years of experience with ICD10, CPT/HCPCS and revenue codes, CMS billing regulations and healthcare reimbursement. Excellent customer service skills required.
