Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

Responsible for coordinating the flow of work and materials to meet daily and weekly production schedules. Oversees production schedules and shipment timelines, working closely with production and department supervisors to ensure their timely completion. Acts as the primary liaison for workflow and priorities across manufacturing facilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

● Coordinates with production teams on capacity demand and manage MRP exception messages

● Adjust MRP parameters and create production schedules using capacity planning software

● Work with inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels and maintain shop floor order creation, flow and review

● Prepare and distribute shop order packets(BOM/Router/Drawings/Notes)for production, analyzing demand to ensure accurate resource allocation.

● Collaborate with estimating, customer service, and production on lead times, and distribute production and demand reports as needed.

● Updates open order reports, expedite material flow and supports customer expectations during production meetings

● Coordinates workflow between facilities and manage priority requests

● Other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Skills and Educational Requirements

● Bachelor’s Degree preferred; relevant training and 3+ years of experience may be considered

● 3-5 years of recent manufacturing Planning/Scheduling experience preferably in a like environment required

● Must possess strong Excel skills including Vlook up.

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to engage effectively with all staff levels and suppliers required

● Self-starter with multitasking abilities, strong attention to detail, and organizational skills

● Experience with ERP systems, preferably MACOLA

● Analytical with proven problem-solving skills
