Interprets and enforces Federal, State, local rules and regulations applicable to airport operations; responds to emergencies; compiles/monitors flight schedules and coordinates them with air carriers; monitors aircraft operations. Performs airfield, terminal and landside inspections as required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA); ensures Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and lease agreement compliance; responds to tenants/public inquiries and complaints; prepares related reports. Work is performed under the general direction of the Supervisor of Airport Operations and is reviewed via personal consultation, written reports and conferences.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's Degree OR minimum of 60 college credits in Aviation Management; minimum one (1) experience at a Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 139 commercial service airport. Equivalencies: Related Bachelor's Degree AND six (6) months of related experience; Unrelated Bachelor's Degree AND one (1) year of related experience OR graduation from high school/equivalent recognized certification AND two (2) years of related experience.
PREFERENCE FOR: Work experience at a medium/large hub airport (must specify airport name[s]); knowledge of airports/airfields CFR 139 and airport security CFR 1542 (must specify on application); valid Pilot's License (copy of license must be uploaded to online application by 5:00 P.M. on the closing date).

Ability to lift 50 pounds preferred. Valid Florida Driver's License and PBC Risk Management Department driving history approval prior to appointment.
