Duties GS-09/11: Perform duties with the assistance of the aircraft commander. Assist in the operation of aircraft in order to gain the experience needed to become a qualified pilot in unit type aircraft. GS-09/11: Participate in discussions, meetings or serves on panels or committees regarding unit aircraft and flying mission. GS-12: Instructor presents academic course content such as fundamentals of flight, Air Force doctrine, security procedures, mishap prevention, air discipline and judgement. GS-13: Develop and distribute information on changes and advances in flying safety. GS-14: Direct all operations and training programs for the organization.
