Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Agricultural Equipment Mechanic

While we welcome applicants new to the agricultural equipment service profession, preference will be given to individuals with significant technical experience in ag equipment. Position Attributes:

* Analyze and address customer concerns promptly, providing on-the-spot solutions or proactively preventing potential failures.
* Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to meet the industry's demands.

* Continuously learn about our product lines and equipment features.
* Perform high-quality work in a professional and timely manner.
* Assist the service manager by advising customers on necessary service repairs and recommending preventative maintenance.
* Maintain service tools and vehicles in good condition.
* Keep the entire shop area clean.
* Take responsibility for maintaining a safe working environment and promptly report any accidents.
* Electronically document all work performed, parts used, and labor hours during repairs or machine preparations.
* Inspect completed work before delivery to customers.
* Recommend new shop equipment to increase efficiency and provide more comprehensive coverage to customers.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements, Education/Experience, and Key Competencies:

* High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or higher preferred).
* 5+ years of experience as an agricultural technician.
* Proficient in computer use, internet navigation, and typing work orders.
* Valid driver's license.
* Punctual, arriving on time and prepared for a full day of work.
* Experience with DC electrical systems and electronics.
* Ability to make temporary field repairs using a "think on your feet" mentality.
* Understanding of hydraulic flows and applications.
* Proficient in utilizing wiring and fluid power schematics.
* Knowledgeable in all facets of air conditioning systems.
* Systematic troubleshooting skills.
* Analytical thinking ability.
* Ability to assist in quoting jobs.
* Results-driven and enthusiastic.
* Collaborative team player, willing to assist others for top team performance.
* Well-organized and adaptable to working weekends and after hours during peak seasons.
