Your Responsibilities - Performing detailed patient evaluations, ordering tests, and devising tailored care plans
- Diagnosing and managing a range of acute and chronic health issues, either in partnership with physicians or independently based on your credentials
- Guiding patients and their families in preventative measures, overall wellness, and effective disease management
- Prescribing necessary medications and therapies in alignment with your professional training
- Engaging in follow-up care and chronic illness management
- Cooperating with other healthcare professionals to offer integrated and complete patient care
- Keep meticulous and precise electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Qualifications - Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Required Licenses and Certifications - Active Nurse Practitioner license in Nevada
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty credential
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the willingness to obtain these within 90 days)
