Your Daily Responsibilities
  • Carrying out thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic examinations, and creating personalized care strategies
  • Diagnosing and treating urgent, episodic, or chronic conditions, either autonomously or in partnership with collaborating physicians
  • Providing health education to patients and their families focused on wellness, prevention, and disease management
  • Prescribing medications and therapies in alignment with your scope of practice
  • Engaging in follow-up care and ongoing management of chronic conditions
  • Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to guarantee cohesive and comprehensive care
  • Accurately documenting clinical encounters in electronic medical records (EMR)
Essential Educational Background
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Mandatory Certifications
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Indiana
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialization
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
