Job Description
Job Summary The West Contra Costa Unified School District Adult Education program is seeking a World Language teacher to teach German. Classes are held in the evenings. Class times and nights of the week are determined on teacher availability. Classes to start in September of 2024.
The starting hourly rate is $34.92 per hour (Step 1) or $35.91 per hour (Step 2) with verification of 750 hours prior teaching experience. Non-credentialed Instructor pay rate is $32.55 per hour.
Requirements / Qualifications Provide a current resume.
Provide three (3) letters of reference.
Provide copy of transcripts showing evidence that a Bachelor Degree or higher was awarded.
Please Note: All applicants MUST have fingerprint clearance through our district (WCCUSD) prior to being hired.
Valid Single Subject or Multiple Subject teaching credential, or a Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential or valid Preliminary Adult Education Teaching Credential preferred but not necessary.
