ABACs Department of Agriculture is home to an interdisciplinary group of scholars who work together to offer courses in support of our B.S. degrees in Agribusiness, Agricultural Technology Management, Agriculture, Environmental Horticulture, Agricultural Education, and Agricultural Communication. We are seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach courses in the area of Animal Science. Part-time, temporary, adjunct faculty may instruct one or two courses a semester on an as-needed basis. Possible courses include Introduction to Animal Science, Introduction to Poultry Science, Elements of Dairying, Applied Animal Nutrition, Beef Production, Beef Industry, Equine Exercise Physiology, Equine Production Management, Food Animal Evaluation and Selection, Forage Crops and Pastures, Herd Health, Meat Production, Process and Market, or Physiology of Reproduction.Teaching assignments will depend on the candidates areas of interest and expertise and student needs. These courses may be offered in a traditional face-to-face format or online, depending upon the need. The Department of Agriculture currently offers courses face-to-face and online at ABACs main site in Tifton and online to service the instructional site in Bainbridge.
