Position Summary

In this role you will be a contact worker for the Denver VA Medical Center. Performing tasks related to Accounts Receivable Technicians. The Accounts Receivable Technicians will provide non-technical and technical processing of check refunds on site in accordance with the specifications contained herein to the Department of Veterans Affairs

Contract Details

  • 52 weeks contract with possibility to extend each year.
  • Monday through Friday, 8 - 4:30 PM shifts.

Core Responsibilities

  • Actively assists with the administrative support related to accounts receivable.
  • Prepares reports, program documentation, graphics presentations, plans and coordinates meetings/conferences.
  • Performs data entry, filing, and reproduction.
  • Applies familiarity with specialized and technical terminology to proofread and edit documents.
  • Verifies any and all reminders “due” at the time.
  • Answers phones and timely relays messages.
  • Remain focused on achieving excellent clinical outcomes through data input accuracy and within the specified VA guidelines.
  • Must provide excellent customer service to each veteran, both in person and over the phone, as well as to fellow colleagues and visitors.
  • Embrace and support new initiatives, whether clinical or operational.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a administrative assistant in a related accounts receivable field.
  • Must be credentialed and remain in good standing through the Veterans Health Administration (VA).
  • Must be a US Citizen.

This job is CONTINGENT upon contract award, client approval, completion of a favorable background investigation, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust / High Risk clearance.
