Job Description

McKinley is looking for a full-time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team! This position will be a hybrid role so you will be mostly work remote, but could require weekly meetings at our Corporate office in the beautiful downtown Ann Arbor, MI!



Compensation : $20.00 - $28.00/Hourly + Bonus Potential + Benefits



Job Responsibilities:

• Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation.
• Receive, review (watch for and report trends), code and process utility bills, arranging for vendor payment. Report recorded expense to site personnel on a timely basis so that they are aware of budget differential.
• Initiates and tracks stop payments issued and reissue missing checks to vendors.
• Prepares, reviews and completes follow-ups on unauthorized invoices to ensure their timely arrival at corporate.
• Codes expenses to proper GL accounts by analyzing invoices and credit card charges.
• Tracks all credit memos from vendors.
• Prepares vendor account reconciliations.
• Assists with the corporate credit card program.
• Verifies vendor account reconciliations, and more.
• Selects items approved for payment, prints and distributes checks.

The most important aspect of this job is that we love helping our customers. You will constantly be communicating via phone, email and in person with internal and external customers. The relationships you build with everyone will impact McKinley's business on a day to day basis.


Accounts Payable Clerks have excellent written communication skills, stellar grammar and are super detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
