Job Posting: Accounts Payable Analyst
Location : Nashville, TN (Onsite to start, then possibly remote 2 days per week)
Shift : Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day. Initial hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (after training, hours may be adjusted).
Contract Duration: Three months with possibility of extending!
Qualifications :
2-3 years of accounts payable work experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to handle a high volume of invoices and work efficiently under deadlines.
Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable (A/P) Analyst to join our team located in Nashville, TN . This role is responsible for processing A/P invoices (both purchase order and non-purchase order) to ensure accurate and timely payment. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of A/P work experience, strong data entry skills, and the ability to manage a large volume of work efficiently.
Key Responsibilities :
Analyze invoices (P.O. and non-P.O.) to ensure proper resolution and approvals.
Verify appropriate accounting treatment (capitalization vs. expense) and ensure accurate general ledger coding.
Ensure correct sales tax calculation for local and state taxes.
Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve missing or incorrect information.
Collect necessary documents (W-9, physician ownership forms) to set up new vendors properly.
Perform monthly quality reviews of accounts payable processes.
Additional Information :
Onsite position to start, with potential for remote work 2 days per week after training.
