Job Summary Fountain Valley School District is seeking one (1) dedicated part-time (50%) Middle School Music-Drama certificated teacher to support instruction for 6th - 8th grade students. The assignment is three periods a day, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 11:40 AM.
Requirements / Qualifications Combination of Single Subject Credential and/or Subject Matter Authorization in the following areas: Theater/Drama and Music. Additionally, applicants must have their English Learner Authorization.
Please note that a Single Subject Credential in English if first issued before January 1, 2022, is acceptable instead of a Theater/Drama credential/authorization.
A candidate may qualify for subject matter compliance if they have a Single Subject Credential in one (1) of the areas stated and a minimum of 12-semester units, or six upper division or graduate semester units, of acceptable coursework in the other area needed (for example, Single Subject Credential in Theater/Drama and coursework in Music).
