New car service company specializing in local car service for the Orthodox Jewish Community in Bloomingburg NY is seeking a weekend driver.

Who's it a fit for?

This is a 1099 independent contractor position and is perfect for someone who is: 1. off on Friday's and weekends, 2. is retired and looking to make extra money, 3. Is a full-time gig driver (Uber Lyft, Doordash etc) and wants to get some extra work or 4. Someone looking for a second job.

About the Job

The contractor would use their own vehicle and will be responsible for handling rides assigned during the hours they have agreed to work. Contractor will never have to answer phones and is prohibited from exchanging phone numbers with passengers.

• Contractor will use their own vehicle
• Contractor will handle cash and should keep some small bills on hand to make change.
• Rides will generally be between Bloomingburg and either Monroe, Middletown or Monsey NY. Some rides have multiple stops (You will get paid extra for those) and some rides have wait time which again you will make more money from.
• No listening to the radio watching videos or using electronic devices other than GPS while a customer is in the car
• No phone calls other than those to dispatch when customer is in the car
• Keep your trunk empty and be prepared to assist passengers with loading/unloading luggage
• Be tolerant and accepting
• Customers will sometimes eat in the car
• Customers will sometimes be on the phone
• anyone considered for the job will be required to submit to a background check, as well as provide a copy of their driver's license, Proof of insurance and active DMV Registration and sign our Independent Contractor's Agreement prior to commencing work.

Pay

Driver's will earn 80% of all money collected daily from customer rides. The company takes a 20% commission on all rides and collects its commissions from drivers weekly on Friday evenings or Saturday mornings.

Hours

The company operates Sunday-Thursdays 8a-11p, Friday 8am-8p and Saturday 6pm to 12am This position will simply receive offers when one becomes available and the first contractor to claim an offer will get it.

it is ideal for full-time gig drivers who want to add an additional stream of revenue to their rideshare business.
